Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy
What the CloudMonitor website loads, why it loads, and how to control non-essential technologies.
Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy
Effective August 22, 2026.
1. Scope
This policy explains the cookies, browser storage, tags, pixels, scripts, and server-side network information used on cloudmonitor.ai and its public documentation. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
CloudMonitor, we, us, and our mean Data-Driven AI Pty Ltd (ABN 58 635 718 455).
Not every technology listed below sets a cookie. A web request can disclose an IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested URL even when no cookie is stored. Local storage and session storage can remember information in the browser without using a cookie.
2. Your choices
On a first visit, optional analytics and marketing technologies remain off. The privacy control lets you:
- reject non-essential technologies;
- accept the combined Analytics and marketing category; or
- review the combined choice before deciding.
CloudMonitor stores the choice in first-party browser storage so it can apply the preference on later pages. You can reopen Cookie settings from the website and change the choice. Clearing site data or using another browser or device may cause the control to ask again.
Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and LinkedIn Insight load only after you allow Analytics and marketing. Withdrawing that choice stops those tools from loading on future page views after the updated preference takes effect. It cannot recall data that a provider lawfully received earlier.
Strictly necessary website-delivery and security processing remains active because the site cannot be delivered or protected without it. AnyChat does not load sitewide. Its support widget loads only after you actively request support.
Browser settings and privacy extensions can also block or delete storage. Blocking a necessary script can prevent a protected form or requested support channel from working.
3. Current technology inventory
This inventory describes the purpose and loading rule reviewed on August 22, 2026. Provider implementations can use cookies, local storage, pixels, or network requests. We do not publish guessed cookie names or expiration periods. Use the linked provider inventory and your browser’s storage tools for the exact items present in a particular session.
| Category and tool | Purpose and information involved | When it operates |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary: CloudMonitor privacy preference | Records the categories you accepted or rejected and enough version information to apply that choice. The value stays in your browser. | After you make a choice; until you change it, clear it, or the implemented browser record expires |
| Necessary: Cloudflare website delivery, security, and operational insights | Delivers pages through Cloudflare Workers and its network; processes request URL, IP address, browser and request headers, timing, routing, and security signals. Cloudflare-provided Web Analytics or Insights may provide aggregated operational metrics. | On website requests; not controlled by the optional analytics or marketing choice |
| Necessary: Cloudflare Turnstile | Protects selected forms from automated abuse by evaluating browser, device, network, and interaction signals and returning a verification token. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not read the form entries or user communications. | Only where a protected form displays or invokes Turnstile |
| Analytics and marketing: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and LinkedIn Insight Tag | Tag Manager loads the configured measurement tools. Google Analytics measures page views, navigation, campaign source, and website interactions using device, browser, referrer, approximate-location, event, and pseudonymous identifier data. LinkedIn measures campaign performance and website actions, builds aggregate audience reports, and can support retargeting using URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamp, advertising identifiers, and configured action data. | Only after you allow the combined Analytics and marketing category |
| User-requested support: AnyChat | Opens the requested support channel. The loader receives the current page URL and technical request data. If you interact, AnyChat processes the messages, contact details, and files or other content you choose to submit and may use browser storage for the session. | Only after you actively request support |
| User-requested media: YouTube privacy-enhanced player | Displays a video on one documentation page through youtube-nocookie.com. Loading it can disclose IP address, browser and device headers, referrer data allowed by the page, and player interactions to Google. | Only after you select Load video from YouTube; playback can create additional provider requests or storage |
Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics product as cookie-free and designed to report aggregate website metrics rather than track a person across sites. Cloudflare still receives the network information needed to serve and protect a request.
4. Provider information and controls
- Cloudflare: Privacy Policy, Web Analytics, and Turnstile documentation.
- Google: Privacy Policy and cookie information. Google account and advertising settings may provide additional controls.
- LinkedIn: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and current cookie table. LinkedIn members can also use their LinkedIn advertising settings.
- AnyChat: Privacy Policy.
The provider’s controls apply to its own systems. CloudMonitor’s Cookie settings control whether this website initiates Google Tag Manager and its optional Google Analytics and LinkedIn Insight integrations as one combined Analytics and marketing choice.
5. Forms, session storage, and server records
The savings calculator can use session storage to keep calculator inputs and whether the report was unlocked during that browser session. Session storage is a functional browser feature rather than an advertising cookie. Clearing it resets the saved browser state.
Submitting a form creates server-side records described in the Privacy Policy. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent the server from receiving the information intentionally submitted with a form or the network and security information needed to handle the request.
6. Changes to this inventory
We update this policy when a tool, purpose, or loading rule materially changes. The effective date identifies the version reviewed. Third-party cookie names and expiration periods can change independently, so the provider’s current inventory and the browser’s live storage view remain the precise sources for those technical details.
