Google Cloud in your one cost picture.
A Google Cloud connector is on the CloudMonitor roadmap. It will read billing export data into Fabric and apply the same allocation, savings, and anomaly engine you run on Azure.
For teams running workloads across three clouds, the Google Cloud integration will close the loop. GCP billing will land in the same CloudMonitor model as Azure and AWS, so projects, labels, and committed-use discounts reconcile into one set of cost groups instead of three separate consoles.
- Will read the GCP billing export from BigQuery into your Fabric workspace.
- Will allocate spend by project, label, and cost group to match your other clouds.
- Will surface Compute Engine right-sizing and committed-use discount coverage.
- Will forecast spend and raise anomalies through the same alert routing.
Unified allocation
Projects and labels in your shared cost groups.
The Google Cloud connector will map projects and labels into the same cost groups you use for Azure and AWS, so a three-cloud estate reconciles into one allocation model.
- BigQuery billing export read into your Fabric workspace
- Project and label allocation shared with Azure and AWS
- Three-cloud totals rolled into one Fabric report
Savings
Right-sizing and committed-use discounts.
Oversized instances and gaps in committed-use coverage will be surfaced and ranked by annual saving, consistent with how CloudMonitor ranks Azure recommendations today.
- Compute Engine right-sizing from real utilization
- Committed-use discount coverage tracked against usage
- Idle resources flagged with an owner attached
The Google Cloud integration extends CloudMonitor’s allocation model to a third cloud so that multi-cloud teams report spend the same way everywhere. Project and label data from the billing export will reconcile into the cost groups your finance team already recognizes.
This connector is in planning. If Google Cloud coverage matters to your rollout, the beta team would like to know which services and billing dimensions you depend on most.
